Sunday Brunch

It's a beautiful Sunday afternoon in Cleveland. I just got back from having brunch at The Chophouse with my homie DJ Steph Floss (I'm sure he's going to vlog about it).

Last time I was at The Chophouse for Sunday brunch, I had an encounter with rap legend, Yo Yo. I was eating with my girl Katie when Yo Yo walked in....it just so happened that Katie helped Yo Yo select an outfit they day before when they both happened to be shopping at Next Beachwood. So Yo Yo came over to our table to say hi and we took some pics. I was too geeked.

Thank God for "Weird" People

Sometimes I feel a little (read: a lot) out of place...Then I meet someone that is WAAAY more left field than I am. That makes me feel good. Like I'm "okay"....and I still have room to turn it up a notch.

Don't mind me...these are just my random thoughts........

Sh!t That's Never Gonna Come Out

I think I'm going to post snippets the stuff I've done that:
  • I like
  • I think you might like too
  • Is NEVER coming out

Enjoy

Jilly From Philly

I'm sitting here watching Dave Chappelle's Block Party on FUSE and just thought "I wish I was deep like Jill Scott". I remember back in high school I would listen to "He Loves Me (Lyzel In E Flat)" repeatedly and wonder if that was what love was really like; b/c if it was.... I wanted in. (It certainly doesn't hurt that Big Homie* included the song at the tail-end of Dangerously In Love during The Beyonce Experience tour.)

So smooth... so comfortable in her own skin... so D.O.P.E.

Below are some of my favorite video clips. (I apologize for the girl going off when Yonce* makes the song transition but it's the best clip I could find that wasn't stupid long.)

*Beyonce' Knowles will always be referred to as "Big Homie" or simply "Yonce".
