Follow Us So You Can Follow Our Moves

I'm blessed to have an amazing network of young people in the Cleveland area that are about business and making things happen. I was originally going to do this as a "Follow" tweet but I wanted something with a little more staying power. I'm not even going to list the reasons WHY you should follow these people or the MOVES they've made recently. Just click that follow button and enjoy the ride.

L to tha E

The homie L.e (formerly of Fly.Union) has put together a nice project with NIKE called The Anti-Parachute theory. He sent me a couple of tracks (posted below) and they are n.i.c.e. Dude is crazy talented when it comes to rhyming and art. I actually have a sketch he did in my Think Tank. But I digress....take a listen and enjoy!

He recently joined Twitter so make sure you FOLLOW HIM.

Chip tha Rip and Kiddo

Kid Cudi a.k.a. the Hometown Hero came thru the city of The Hangover Tour and SHUT SH!T DOWN!!! H.O.B. was sold out. The crowd was rocking. It was a f*cking good time. Even Mama Cudi was jamming to Make Her Say.

As always, I had to trusty dusty Flip Cam with me. Check out Cudi's encore with Chip the Ripper below.

*Special shouts out to the good people at Z107.9 for that box pass.*

The Preview

I'm having hard time loading videos from my flip cam so until I figure out what the heck is going on, you can sooth your ears with the sounds of Rogue Agent (Motorcycle Michael + 6S)

The Roots @ H.O.B.

The Roots stopped through the city of Cleveland last month. The show was nice, as expected. The crowd was diverse, as expected. DJ Steph Floss opened and talked on the mic, as expected. The dopest part of the show was the percussion breakdown by the almighty Quest Love, as expected. (Little known fact: I was a percussionist for like 4 years

Check out the footage I captured via FlipCam.

The Coventry Kids

Keeping in line with my posts about the good times on Coventry, I want to introduce some of the coolest MoFos on the block - The Coventry Kids.

I could go on and on about how much I love these guys and how awesome they are but I won't.

Just check out their site THECOVENTRYKIDS.COM and when you're in the area, drop by Heart & Sole and The Above Boutique and say hello. (While you're there, stop in Brigade and say hello to Dan The Man. Post coming soon....I can't give you all the good stuff at once.)

Next on Coventry

Coventry is by far one of my favorite spots in the city. Good food. Good shopping. Great people.

Over the holiday weekend, I did a LOT of macking and hanging with my friends on Coventry. Friday night, the citizens of the greater Cleveland area welcomed NeXt Boutique to the neighborhood. I must say that the decor of the store is very nice, much better than the other NeXt locations. The clothing selection is similar to the Beachwood location but that may change over the next few seasons.

Sidenote: Mick Boogie came through and spun for a few minutes. He played the sample from "Best I Ever Had" and blended it into the Drake track. I was in awe. Mick Boogie strikes again.

UrLife Blog

The homie T.Cherry started a site about a month or so ago called UrLife Blog. It consists of random rants and viewpoints from himself and a few guest bloggers.

I like it b/c there's no real format....it's just whatever comes to mind. Unstructured. Uncensored. Unfiltered. Thoughts.

Check it out and if you're interested in submitting, hit him up at urlifeblog@gmail.com.
